Mr. Ian Stupakoff’s research experience expands over 30 years of experimental design, analytical laboratory work, baseline surveys and field sampling activities at contaminated sites under the Comprehensive Environmental Response, Compensation, and Liability Act (CERCLA) and other sites managed under individual state regulatory agencies.
Mr. Stupakoff is experienced in designing efficient and cost-effective approaches to field sampling challenges and has worked on several challenging project sites as well.
In some cases his projects have required access to on-site field laboratories, which he has designed and built on location to meet the needs of his projects. Some examples of field labs he has designed in the past include trace metal clean rooms, fish tissue dissecting rooms, wet labs with aquaria, and in-vehicle mobile labs.
In addition, Mr. Stupakoff has extensive knowledge in setting up and deploying environmental monitoring equipment (e.g., ADCPs, multiprobe water quality meters, and turbidity measuring equipment) in remote areas where long term data collection is needed.
He has also subcontracted with other consulting firms to provide client oversight of their field sediment sampling activities.
